Thanks to Jean Marie for your guidanceHow to find a sponsor to a project: RABIES CONTROL IN MULANJE DISTRICT, MALAWI, CENTRAL AFRICA?
Hello again. Go to foundationcenter.org and look for foundations that support international projects in your area of the world. Check out the International Foundation, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the William Jefferson Clinton Foundation, the Allen Foundation, the Izumi Foundation, and the Kellogg Foundation. Get their contact information and send an email requesting the submission procedures, including their grant cycle deadlines. Those should get you started. I would also contact the World Health Organization to ask for guidance.

One thing I will say is that one size does not fit all when it comes to grant proposals -- you probably will not want to send your request off to various organizations before paying close attention to their specifications for such requests. Nearly all require information in a specific format.

You may also need to find an NGO that can serve as a fiscal agent for you -- U.S. grantmaking organizations need to account for how their funds are distributed, and part of this audit process includes review of eligibility for acceptance of donations.

I was in the Mulanje District last year - what a beautiful place. I wish you the best of luck with getting funding for your important work.
