What is the constant and control in my science fair project? ?

';which plastic wrap is stronger reynolds or glad.';What is the constant and control in my science fair project? ?
Independent variable (manipulated variable): different brands of plastic wrap

Dependent variable (responding variable): the strength of the different plastic wraps

Controls: same size of test sheet, same weights, same way of laying the weights on the plastic wrap, same amount of timeWhat is the constant and control in my science fair project? ?
You should ask your science teacher! :o)

But, I imagine it has something to do with the validity of the experiment...for instance to test a new drugs effect you would have a test group and a control group. The test group would take the actual drug and the control group would take a placebo (a fake pill). Both groups believe they're testing a new prescription drug, but only one actually ingests it...thereby giving you a control group to monitor against the test group. So, I think you need to have some type of control in your test.
well it depends on what you r doing for your project. The constant is the constant variable and that is the the variable that is CONSTANTLY happening and the control is the controlled variable and that is the variable that u can control. I hope this is helpful! (it waz kind of hard to explain so there is really no other way to explain it!)
Your constant is what stays in the project. Like the plastic wrap

Your control would be what your using for refernce

say that a doctor is trying out a new medicine and he says it will cure you from something. He gives it to group a but not group b

Group b would be the control because he is using it to see if it worked......

Hope i helped!
